  • Structure & Word Limit: Aim for 8–10 sentences (100–120 words) unless specified otherwise. Keep it concise, focused, and well-structured.

  • The "Topic Sentence": Start immediately with a strong, explicit topic sentence that answers or addresses the main topic directly.

  • Body Development & Argumentation (6–7 Sentences):

    • Provide logical layers: Cause -> Effect -> Consequence.

    • Avoid repetition. Every sentence must introduce a new sub-point or elaboration.

  • Avoid Grammatical Errors: Evaluators grade strictly on grammatical correctness, appropriate vocabulary, subject-verb agreement, and proper sentence connectors over simple length.

  • Flow & Cohesion: Use logical transition words (Moreover, Furthermore, Consequently, On the other hand, In conclusion).

  • The Concluding Synthesis (1 Sentence): Wrap up with a forward-looking summary or a call to action. "Addressing these issues requires a collaborative approach from families, educators, and policymakers alike."
